Arabic Culture, Context, and Language II Arabic Culture, Context, and Language 101
Language content includes: Basic Listening Comprehension, Grammar Basics, and Beginning Conversation. Culture content includes topics such as: Social Structure in the Arabic Culture, Arabic Music, Arabic Cuisine, Politics, and History.
Students who wish to receive academic credit will be required to:
- Take an audio test demonstrating the ability to understand spoken Arabic phrases taught in module one
- Take a multiple-choice test with questions relevant to the content of this module
- Complete level two module in the virtual language lab
On satisfactory completion of these additional requirements the student is awarded academic credit for:
- Beginning Arabic 101 4.5 quarter units
- Beginning Arabic 101A Language Lab 1.5 quarter units
Cost: $252 per quarter unit
