Chinese Culture, Context, and Language II Chinese Culture, Context, and Language II

Language content includes:  Basic Listening Comprehension, Grammar Basics, and Beginning Conversation. Culture content includes topics such as:  Social Structure in the Chinese Culture, Chinese Music, Chinese Cuisine, Politics, and History.  

Students who wish to receive academic credit will be required to:

• Take an audio test demonstrating the ability to understand spoken Chinese phrases taught in module one
• Take a multiple-choice test with questions relevant to the content of this module
• Complete level two module in the virtual language lab

On satisfactory completion of these additional requirements the student is awarded academic credit for:

• Beginning Chinese II                                                4.5 units
• Beginning Chinese II Language Lab                    1.5 units
