Chinese Culture, Context, and Language III Chinese Culture, Context, and Language III

Language content includes:  Specialized Terminology in Business, Construction, Government, and Military, Basic Writing, and Intermediate Conversation. Culture content includes topics such as: Chinese Poetry and Literature, Globalization and Its Impact, Politics, and History. 

Students who wish to receive academic credit will be required to:

• Take a test demonstrating the ability to write simple sentences in Chinese
• Write a 5-page essay relevant to the content of this module
• Complete level three module in the virtual language lab

On satisfactory completion of these additional requirements the student is awarded academic credit for:

• Intermediate Chinese I                                              4.5 units
• Intermediate Chinese I Language Lab                  1.5 units
