Persian Culture, Context, and Language III Persian Culture, Context, and Language III

Language content includes: Specialized terminology in business, construction, government, military, basic writing, and intermediate conversation. Cultural content includes topics such as Persian poetry and literature, globalization and its impact, politics, and history. 

Students who wish to receive academic credit will be required to:

• Take a test demonstrating the ability to write simple sentences in Persian
• Write a 5-page essay relevant to the content of this module
• Complete level three module in the virtual language lab 

On satisfactory completion of these additional requirements the student is awarded academic credit for:

• Intermediate Persian I                                              4.5 units
• Intermediate Persian I Language Lab                  1.5 units
